Josef Eberhardt Obituary
81, of Gilbert, AZ, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Joe was born on September 22, 1934 in Yugoslavia. He immigrated to the USA in 1952 and has been an Arizona resident for nearly 60 years. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for 35 years as an engineer in the aerospace industry for AiResearch/Garrett/AlliedSignal. He is survived by his wife Peggy, his sister Anne (Tom) Perkins-Handeguand, his children Cindy (Jeff) Roths, Mike (Audrey) Eberhardt, Randy (Nanette) Eberhardt, and Todd Eberhardt and his step-children Monica Montalvo and J.P. Montalvo. His grandchildren Jake, Heather, Matt, Alison, Mikayla, Bella, J.J., Gabriella and Malik. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 10:00 to11:00 a.m., with Rosary and services to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home Chapel, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85204 with entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joe's name to the Tempe Elks Lodge No. 2251, 2320 S. Hardy Drive, Tempe, AZ 85282, where Joe was a member for 45 years. Condolences may be made to www.queenofheavencatholicmortuary.com. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, Mesa, AZ.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe at AiResearch-AlliedSignal and he was a terrific person. He was always so pleasant and a wealth of manufacturing knowledge to assist us Designers with our designs and engineering drawings. He will truly be missed. My sincerest condolences to Joe's family.
