Kenneth Buresh Obituary

Buresh, Dr. Kenneth L.
90, of Scottsdale, AZ, died January 25, 2014. He was born April 15, 1923, in Riceville, Iowa. He practiced family medicine in Iowa and Minnesota for 46 years. Integrity, responsibility and professional ethics guided him throughout his life. He attended Luther College and graduated from the University of Iowa Medical School. He served in the Naval Reserve and was a Captain in the US Army Medical Corps. Community involvement and volunteering were important to him before and after his retirement. Kenneth and his wife Marilyn moved from Owatonna, MN, to Scottsdale in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marilyn, and their 4 children, Steven Buresh of Portland, OR, Susan (Michael) Missen of Mesa, AZ, Terri Buresh of Scottsdale, AZ, and Ellen (Paul) Finch of Genoa, WI, 3 grandsons, Barclay (Donna) Missen, Zachary (Kristen) Missen and Ian Finch, as well as 3 great grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be given to Vista Del Camino Food Bank (http://bit.ly/1gqAMWv) or a local food shelf. Online condolences can be made at http://www.messingermortuary.com/. A private memorial service will be held.
