It was with great sadness that we heard about Leigh. I am only sad that I didn't get to spend more time with her because of the miles between us. I still remember catching dragon flies with her and spending time with her at the wedding. I will be keeping our whole family in our prayers and only hope that you all can take one day at a time to get through suffering such a great loss. She truly blessed the world and to have had time with her makes me blessed too! Please keep in touch and stay strong. Leigh would not have wanted us to be sad although it is tough not to be. I love you guys and hope that the miles between us can not block the love that we are sending your way.

Leigh was such a pleasure to know. She always made you feel so special and appreciated the service that was given to her and the family. Even when she was feeling so bad she did not want to focus on her. I only knew her a short time and it was while she was sick with the Lymes Disease. I am so thankful that I met her. She definitely touched my life.

Leigh was an inspiration to all she came in contact with. May her spirit live on and comfort you during this most difficult time. I'm so glad that you have the understanding of the eternities. May God be with you til you meet again.

Dear Brian: I don't know you well, but I have such deep empathy and compassion for what you are going through. I recently lost my husband of 34 years. When the life of a loved one is shorter than we would have it be, it is hard for us who are left behind. I have found that St. Francis' admonition that it is better to love than to be loved helps. When the pain of the loss is sharp, I remember to actively love my husband even though he is no longer with me on this earth. It helps to ease the pain and increase the gratitude that I have for having shared my life with him. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Dear Brian and Family,
I am terribly sorry for your loss, though I know that "sorry" sure isn't enough right now. I only had the opportunity of meeting and talking with Leigh a few times, and even though I didn't know her very well, Leigh always had a beautiful smile on her face, was vivacious, outgoing, energetic and carried herself so gracefully. Brian, it was so obvious to me that your marriage and family was the most important thing to you and that Leigh was your best friend. I am sorry I didn't get to offer my condolences in person today. I attended the BEAUTIFUL service, and I must say it surely captured the courageous, amazing person that Leigh was. I am praying, and will continue to pray for you and your children and ALL of your family. I am praying that God give you strength during this most difficult time.
Love Your Friend,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad and emotional time you are going through. My son attends school with Lauren and has been in many classes together through the years. Every time I have seen Leigh she had a smile on her face.
May God watch over you and help you all through this.

I would like to offer your family my condolences. I did not know Leigh Ann personally, but was stunned to come across the obituary of such a beautiful woman who died of Lyme Disease. I know many people who suffer the ravages of Lyme and have it myself. There are quite a few of us up here in Anthem. In the future, if you ever wish to talk about it; we are here for you.

It was with profound sadness that I read of Leigh's death. It is a tender mercy to see this picture of her, reminding me of the last time we met. We were all gathered in Arizona when she and her Uncle Neil conspired to surprise her Aunt Sharon on the occasion of Sharon’s 60th birthday. That whole weekend Leigh was impish and generous, beautiful inside and out, surrounded by her whole family, each of whom she loved and delighted in. She used her time on earth so very, very well. I will continue to think of her often, and carry her memory (“so long lives this and this gives life to thee” – Shakespeare/Sonnet 18).

September 17, 2010

I was deeply sorry to hear of this. Leigh was a friend to all. Our prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

That is exactly the Leigh that I knew. I am so grateful to have been touched by her in this life and look forward to seeing her again in the next.

It arrived on time but I live in Arizona so the box got kind of hot. Read the ingredients just tamarind and water, so it should be fine. I am excited about trying this product for my manok sinigang (chicken sour soup) one of popular Filipino dish. I look forward on buying more of these when I ran out.

What a beautiful tribute written for Leigh. You captured her soul. Thank you for sharing her with me. She will be missed and forever remembered. All my love to you.
