I took Jack's physics class at Central over 30 years ago, and it was terrific. If I had not already had the physics bug, he would surely have infected me with it. I learned from him that the field is full of sparkling, memorable personalities, his own a prime example.

I taught at Central with Jack. He was a remarkable man and brought enthusiasm and a certain spark to Physics. He will be missed.

Sorry to learn Jack lost his battle. He was courageous. He was proud that his grandchildren were well educated/
