Maree Eger Obituary
Maree Lee Eger of Rio Verde, AZ, passed 6/21/16 at 92. Born 4/11/24, Delaware, OH, to Rev. Aaron & Helen Ahn. She along with her four sisters Jean, Miriam and Virginia sang on the radio. Later Maree sang with Vaughn Monroe and the Moon Maids. She retired in 1952 to marry Warren Grafe. They had two children, Blair & Shawn. Warren passed in 1973. She married George Eger in 1977. George passed in 2002. Maree is survived by her sister Jean CA, son Blair AZ; daughter Shawn (Steve), IL; stepdaughter, Cheryl AZ; stepson George (MJ) CO, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews across the country. The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday October 15 at 10am at the Rio Verde Community Church.

To the Eger Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

My entire family will be sorry to hear of her passing. Her beautiful voice & cheerful approach to all things in life will always be with me. We still to this day listen to her singing on Vaughn Monroe recordings, & my Mom enjoyed the many performances she went to watch & the friendship that continued to the end.
