Michael Tanner Obituary

Tanner, Michael Stanley
66, of Phoenix passed away on March 3, 2013. Michael was born to Stanley Arthur Tanner and Margaret Ethelyn Cardon on August 11, 1946 in Farmington, New Mexico. He graduated from University High School in Los Angeles in 1964 and attended Brigham Young University. He is survived by his sons Jonathan (Sarah) Tanner, Matthew (Joy) Tanner, Michael J. Tanner, David (Star) Tanner, and Jesse Tanner; daughters Luisa (Patrick) Perkins, Stephanie Tanner, Angie (David) Goodwin, Mary Tanner, and Danielle (Dominic) Tanner-Graziani; sisters Karma Stockstill and Kim (Alex) Bulbulian; brothers Ron (Jane) Tanner, Michael Dean Schauer, Rod Tanner, and Todd (Catherine) Tanner; twenty-eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at 1835 East Missouri Avenue in Phoenix. Bishop Scott Gardner will preside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Society at bestfriends.org or The Gladys Taylor McGarey Medical Foundation at mcgareyfoundation.org.
