I just got this message from Scotty Madden. I knew that Paul had passed away but I didn't know it was that long ago. George was one of my brother Steve Howard's buddies in grade school and high school. And I started hanging out with Paul in the second or third grade. We got in a little bit of trouble growing up but that was half the fun of hanging out with Paul. I still remember riding his three-wheel Honda back in grade school. We had a lot of good times. Wishing all of you the best on such a mournful day.

I went to kindergarten with Paul. We lived on 60th St in LaGrange, Illinois. Sounds like he grew up to be a wonderful man, missed by so many. So sorry to hear of this.

It has now been over a month since we lost Paul. It's been a very difficult time for all of us. Ron Ackerland has and continues to provide an unbelievably blessed level of support as I try to deal with my grief for Paul, as well as the daunting tasks of handling his affairs. To all - we are getting closer to knowing what happened. and we are tentatively planning to have service for paul to bury his ashes during mid June. I will have many to notify. Please help me contact you by e-mailing me at [email protected]. God bless you.

I've know Paul for about 20 years. I did Paul's hair and I looked forward to every monthly visit. We shared a lot of laughs and memories. Paul will be greatly missed not only by me, but so many others. My prayers are with his family and all his friends.

With a heavy heart I will miss the many moments and talks that Paul and I have had over the last 13 years. It was just a few days ago that we had a great converstion about the future and where opportunities were unfolding to enrich ourselves. We have gone through so much growing together we called ourselves Brothers. I will always have so many memories of our brotherhood. I will forever cherish the years Paul and I shared.

We will miss you dearly Paul. Hardly a day goes by without some classic memory of you. In your way you taught me much more than you ever knew. You had a rare combination of wit, understanding, friendliness, and a big dose of never-ending adolescence. To think of all the fun we had, and had yet to have... We will carry on, all the friendlier to those in need and little animals and the like. God bless and find peace in the big desert...

Words connot express the feeling of loosing a freindship that I have had with Paul over the years, will miss and think about him always. From the time we first met, to him being my best man at my wedding and through all the other special times we were able to spend together, I will remember Paul for the rest of my life of just how much of a loving, caring freind he was me and my family. The lord has definatly blessed me with Paul's freindship and I pray that someday we will meet again. My sympathy goes out to his family and freinds. Paul always ended our conversations by saying " hey...love you like a brother" Paul, love you like a brother and god bless my freind. We will miss you....

I was blessed to have known Paul since I was a little girl. I knew him when we lived in Illinois. He was best friends with a member of my family and we moved to Arizona I was able to continue my friendship with him. My memories of Paul include standing up with him in a wedding and I was even fortunate to work for him. He was sweet, funny, and talented. I will miss him and his smile.

Although I have not seen Paul in several years, we spent countless hours together and he was such a warm, compassionate and loving man. His sense of humor always made me laugh & his love of dogs-- truly amazing. We will all miss him. My heartfelt sadness goes out to you and your family.
