Pearl Eckert

Scottsdale - Pearl Mae Eckert, age 96, died December 5th, 2018 at her home in Scottsdale Az. She danced into Heaven, to be with Jesus and with all her friends and family that have gone on before. Pearl was born on August 2, 1922 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was the daughter of Rev John and Flossie Woodward. Pearl graduated from Sioux City High School in 1941. She attended Fort Wayne Bible college and St. Paul Bible college. Pearl and her husband Duane, moved to Scottsdale in 1959. The last 15 years she loved to dance and rarely missed a dance at the Granite Reef Scottsdale Senior Center. Pearl is survived by her son Doug Eckert, daughter Darlene Whitmer and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on December 17th, 2018, at 1:30pm, at Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale, Az. A viewing of her body will held during the hour prior to the funeral service.
