Peter Preach Obituary
Born December 5, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona. Peter Preach of Lynnwood, Washington went to be with his Lord and Savior November 16, 2016, after a long courageous fight with cancer. He was survived very briefly by his wife of 53 years Vanna Preach. Devoted husband and father, his beautiful spirit is greatly missed! Survived by his son Vincent (Delsi) Preach, daughter Nicole (Robert / dec.) Jamison, his granddaughters Serina Preach and Emily Preach. A loving brother he is survived by his siblings, Barbara (Cletus) Flanigan, Phillip (Dorothy) Preach, Collette (Thomas /dec.) Bastian, Mark (Arlene) Preach, Laura (Jon) Hubbs, Camille (David /dec.) Agapito. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Margaret Preach, brothers,Teddy and Craig Preach. Services for Peter and Vanna will be held together on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10:30 am, at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave, Phoenix, AZ. Lunch reception to follow.

i am only now finding out that Peter passed away in 2016. my name is Stephen Thompson. We knew each other since grade school and both attended St Mary's through high school. i hadn't had any contact with him since high school and yet I always considered him a friend. After all these years i miss him even now and he had been in my thoughts from time to time. I remember when he started dating his wife and am pleased to know they shared a long and happy time together. My sympathy to the family.

Our families were so intertwined growing up in Phoenix, Catholic schools, giant families, connected in so many ways. Vanna West grew up across the street from us at 30th St and Turney (she was like Marilyn Monroe) and Peter was this charismatic head of this big family from St Agnes parish. The Hubb's family were related somehow (like us Conley's and Broderick's and Branch's and Westfall's) and we all were like an extended family. I wish I was there to reconnect with you all and mourn Peter and Vanna's passing. Susie (Branch) Conley and I send fond aloha.
