Richard Thomas (Dick) Embry

Scottsdale - Richard Thomas (Dick) Embry, 78, passed away on February 17, 2021 after a long battle with Pancreatitis. Dick was born in Billings, MT, to Walter and Delva Embry on November 6, 1942. After graduating from Billings High School Dick joined the USAF. After serving Dick returned to Billings to graduate from Eastern Montana College with a BS in Business. Dick found his calling selling real estate for IRC Realty. He was soon asked to open their new office in the growing Bozeman-Big Sky area, called RCI Realty. in 1987, Dick and Tony Wastcoat formed a partnership and Coldwell Banker/RCI was created. Dick owned several other businesses including Beaumont Construction and de Gallery. He trained many successful realtors and salesmen throughout his life.

Dick married Kitricia Pugh and they had two sons, Scott and Kade. in 1984 Dick married Mary Stuber and they had a daughter, Kim. In 2006, Dick, Mary and Kim moved to Scottsdale, AZ, lured by Dick's love of cars and golf. Dick will be remembered for his love of buying and selling cars, and his commitment to his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, William and Doug. He is survived by his wife, Mary, sons Scott (Shelly), Kade (Chelsea), daughter, Kim and 5 grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held this summer in Montana.
