Ryan Whitaker Obituary
Ryan Matthew Whitaker, 40, born in Chandler, Arizona January 22, 1980. Graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 1998. Ryan was tragically taken from his family on May 21, 2020 in Ahwatukee, hours after celebrating his daughters HS graduation. He is survived by his wife Stacey, son Matthew (first unborn grandchild) and daughter Taylor, father Alan Whitaker (Ellie), mother Diane Whitaker, Tata Ted Whitaker, Nana Teddy Whitaker, Papa Jerry Folz, Siblings Rebekah Wheaton, Katie Baeza (Daniel), Alan Whitaker Jr., Sean Klasa (April), Steven Whitaker (Wendi), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is pre-deceased by grandmother Phyllis Folz, Old Tata Alfred Culling, Old Nana Alice Culling. Ryan loved softball, playing cornhole with his son and beating everyone at everything. He had a bigger than life presence and loved his family more than anything. Cheers Ryan

I just read about this horrible injustice. I hope this family gets justice. I think all of Arizona is with you. Precious kids lost their dad too soon and precious grand baby that will never know him. God Bless you and give you strength.

I didn't know Ryan but I have seen the footage all over Facebook and seen what happened to him and i think its very sad and just horrible! May his family receive justice and my condolences to his family for their loss. R.I.P Ryan Whitaker

I never met Ryan, but was blessed to know his Mother for many years and have no doubt that he was respectful, caring, goofy and carefree and would do anything for anybody as his Mother would do. My heart breaks for all of you.

I knew Ryan from the neighborhood growing up, this breaks my heart. I met Ryan just a short time ago, in November when our company partnered with Mudbusters. He is one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. Always smiling, joking around, and just an all-around great guy. I enjoyed the short time I got to work with him. I am so heartbroken for Matthew and all the family. Love & hugs to you all. May the Lord provide you with comfort.
