Steve Zaragoza Obituary
Steve C. Zaragoza, 74, passed away January 27th, 2021. Steve was born in Tolleson, AZ. On February 24th, 1946 to Cipriano and Ernestina Zaragoza (deceased). He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Tonia and daughter Andrea Brown (John). Additionally, he welcomed Tonia and son little Mike. He also leaves behind his sisters Gloria Zaragoza (Lupe) and Irene Herrell (Jim) and his brother Mike Zaragoza (Carol) as well as 7 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-son Richard. He was preceded in death by his brother Hector and his little sister Cynthia.
Steve attended Tolleson High School where he met his future wife and made lifelong friends. He played basketball and baseball and excelled at both sports. After high school he joined the marines from 1965-68. Upon returning home from the service, he worked at AT&T until retirement.
Steve was an amazing father that enjoyed coaching boys' little league and girls' softball. He was a sportsman who loved hunting and fishing with friends and family. Steve was a great role model for many and will be missed by the friends and family that he influenced throughout his life.
Our dearest Steve / Dad - We will miss you because YOU WERE THE LOVE OF OUR LIVES. The family appreciates your patience during this difficult time. A celebration of life will be held Thursday May 27th at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. 9925 W. Thomas Road. Avondale, AZ 85392.

Steve was more than a Brother-In-Law he very special friend to us, he touch a lot of lives, that can't be replaced. Steve, Delia and Art are now together. they left so many memories, every where we go theirs always a reminder of the good times we had.

A real out doors man, man of his word, taler of many tails, some were almost true !
