I only saw Steve a couple times at a mutual friend's house, but he seemed like a nice person, never causing trouble. My heart and prayers go out to Stephenie and the rest of the family in their grieving and loss.

I used to work with Steve when he was 20, we even dated for a short time and in that time I got to spend with him, I knew Steve to be an awesome person, he was always very considerate, he made me feel good about myself. I was going through alot then, but Steve made it all better. He would also sit there and sing to me and for those who never got to hear him sing, that man had a voice. He will be missed and for the family my prayers go out to you. Just know that your son, brother was truly a wonderful guy.

Steve was such a nice guy. He was always willing to do anything for others. He loved his family alot- He always talked about his brothers and sister. He will be missed by alot of people. You all are in my prayers that God will give you His peace during this time of tragedy.
