Ted Kalomas Obituary
81, of Scottsdale Arizona passed away on July 2, 2011. Ted was born on Dec. 20, 1929 in Mystrake Greece. He immigrated to Moline IL in 1951 with his parents and family. He married Helen Lebessis on Oct. 24, 1959. He retired from John Deere Harvester in 1987 with 35 years of service as a gang drill operator. Formerly of East Moline, IL., Ted and Helen moved to Scottsdale Arizona in 1996. Throughout his life he was an active member in the church and served as a council member. Ted is survived by his wife and 5 children. Daughter Patty and Son In-law Kevin, Son Deno and Daugther In-Law Leslie, Son George and Aisa, Son Steve and Daughter In-Law Roni and Daughter Athena and Son In-Law Damon; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A viewing will be held at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Scottsdale AZ on July 7, from 5 to 7pm. Services will be on Friday July 8 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at 11:00 AM. Arrangements by Messinger Mortuary at 7601 E. Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Flower arrangements can also be sent to the church the day of the viewing.
