Aaron Ginn Obituary

Aaron Burnett Ginn Sept. 7, 1959 - Oct. 17, 2006 Greenlawn Mortuary Aaron Burnett Ginn passed on October 17th after a long fight with cancer. He was a father, son, brother, uncle and wonderful friend. Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, he was 47. Aaron was known to most people for his passion for cycling. He was involved in BMX most of his life and learned to ride a bike almost as soon as he learned to walk. Every one knew that you could always find him riding in the foothills or out at one of the tracks, Metro or Bakersfield BMX ,supporting his beautiful daughters Kadyann and Heather. You could also find him at Sniders Cyclery where he put in 11 years of service where he enjoyed his work and loved the people he worked with. His love for biking took him to the mountains and the street being involved in SSFTA and Kern Wheelman. He loved to race down- hill and on the road. Aaron has touched the lives and hearts of many people and has the biggest group of friends anyone could ever have. He is survived by his daughters Kadyann and Heather Ginn; parents, Carl and Gwen Ginn; sister, Toni Lorenz ; nieces, Cortnie and Lauren; uncles, Bob Ginn and wife Jane and Steve Ginn and wife Lori and many cousins. Our family would like to give special thanks to Jim Snider and Snider Cyclery and all their crew for your love and support for Aaron during this time, it was truly incredible. To all his friends for your love, support, and help when it was most needed. Tim, Ernie, and Jess for being by his side. A special thanks to Debbie and being a part of his life. Also to Hoffman Hospice for making the whole family comfortable in this time of need; you all were amazing. Most of all to our wonderful family for all your love and support. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., at 9:30 a.m. Chaplain Gary Bashor will officiate. No visitation is scheduled.
