ALLISON FANUCCHI
December 30, 1972 – July 2, 2025
Allison Fanucchi more affectionately known as Alli passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2025. She was 52 years old.
Alli grew up riding horses and three-wheelers. She had a deep love for animals,
especially her dogs and horses. She also had a passion for flowers, candles, and
shoes, lots of shoes. Alli loved Santa Barbara. We spent countless weekends there together.
Alli was full of life and personality. She was feisty and fun, chatty and friendly,
unfiltered and direct. You always knew what she was thinking, like it or not. Beneath her bold exterior, she had a very caring heart and unwavering loyalty to friends and family.
Alli graduated from Cal State Bakersfield as a Business Major. Alli assisted and
worked alongside her father in many different businesses over the years. They owned Bakersfield Kawasaki, GH Slack and Son, Pete Hamlet Plumbing, Tiger Tanks, and finally Bakersfield Tanks. She was dedicated, hardworking, and instrumental in the success of their businesses.
Alli later stepped away from the business world and in March of 2003 she married Mark Fanucchi. We were married for 22 years and were blessed with three wonderful sons, Logan, Zac and Jake. Though she was outnumbered, Alli was strong-willed and could certainly hold her own. Alli and I enjoyed raising our boys together. We enjoyed our annual family vacations, endless youth travel baseball games, and memorable family golf outings.
Alli was preceded in death by her youngest brother Darin Hays, and recently by her mother, Judy Hays. Alli is survived by her husband Mark, and our three sons Logan, Zac, and Jake. She is also survived by her father, Gary I. Hays and her brother, Derek Hays.
Alli was blessed with many wonderful friends. I want to extend a special thank you to Melissa Cahill and Michele Wittels. They were very close to Alli. Their love and support for our family over the years and especially during this difficult time means the world to us. Melissa and Michele visited often, and they enjoyed watching our boys grow up.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out to offer their condolences, help, and heartfelt support.
Alli, with her big brown eyes and beautiful smile will be missed by all. May God bless Alli.
