Carol Bradshaw Obituary

CAROL BRADSHAW

June 6, 1942 – February 19, 2024

Carol Bradshaw, 81, of Templeton, CA, passed away on February 19, 2024, after battling COPD and lung cancer.

Carol was often referred to as "Grandma NASCAR" due to her love for racing.

She worked in the accounting office at Cal State Bakersfield for many years until she retired in 2000 and moved to the coast to be near one of her daughters.

She was so fun to be around. She mastered driving a race car and was the one to beat in the Powder Puff events back in the day. Every Saturday night you'd find her at the races cheering on her family and friends. Her strength and tenacity got her through some tough times, but it was her joy for life and "seeing the glass half full," when it was bone dry, that fueled her GO.

She has a pillow that describes her perfectly, Sassy, Classy, and a bit Smart Assy.

She is survived by her brother Jerry Pitts Sr., daughters Pam Lima (Dave), Cindi Else, Tracy Dumont (Randy), grandchildren Jimmy Dunham (Lara), Chasi Lima, Austin Else, Andrew Else, Karly Dumont, Ashly Dumont, Colby Dumont, great-granddaughter Layla, and many nieces and nephews.

Please join us for her Celebration of Life, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 1:00pm in Templeton, CA. We would love to hear how she touched your life. For details call or text Tracy at (805) 610-5444.

She may have received the checkered flag here on earth, but the green flag will wave eternally in heaven. We love and miss you mom.
