Lord, you know how hard it is to say good-bye to those we love. You stood at the tomb of Lazarus and wept, even though You knew he would be resurrected. And we know we will see Mom again too. But in the meantine, hearts are hurting and tears are falling. Please bring Your peace and comfort. Wrap Your arms gently around those who are grieving. Give strength for today and hope for tomorrow. And most of all, let Your presence be felt in a special way, because You are the One who Loves us so much.

We have memeories of visiting Dorothy when time would allow us while she was working, we would seek her out and say hello and catch up on our families comings and goings. She was always happy to say hello. She will be missed. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Dorothy had so much energy, love, generosity, sympathy, understanding and an unfailing sense of humor. So much in fact, I don't know how she stored it all in her little body. She was like a second mother to me.
I will miss exchanging recipes, talking about our newest kitchen gadgets or what was the best way to mash potatoes and make gravy.
She was a rock for the family.
I know she is with God now and her beloved husband. May she rest in peace. With all her energy, heaven will never be the same.
Go with God and peace be with you.

To all of Dorothy's family, I give my sympathy. I am so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. Anyone who knew Dorothy will remember her with smiles. There was never a day that Dorothy was not smiling. I worked with Dorothy for 15 years 12 of them side by side. How she could spin a story. She came in every day saying " Hello, Hello, Hello". She taught me so much.
Dorothy was a wonderful cook. We loved it when she was trying to perfect a recipe and would bring all of the first attempts in to us to eat. My daughter will always remember her as "the cookie lady".

Mom,
How I will miss your teasing and the laughter we shared. Your unique personality. You helped fill that void I had when I lost my Mother. You also filled that void as a grandmother to my Daughter Kami, and a great Grandma to her son Maguire. You brought joy to my life many times through the years I was around you. You always made me feel so comfortable and loved whenever I was around you or entered your home.
You were a God send to me and I will miss you more than you can imagine. I only pray our paths will cross again.
What a gift it would be to me if I could finish my life out to become the wonderful person you were to everyone that knew you. I truly believe you are in heaven for you were the Angel I grew to love and admire.
All my love
