To my brother, I cant believe its been a year since you left us. There's not a day that go's by that i don't think of you. There's always something that reminds all of us of you. It;s just not the same without you.There are times at night when i look down the street and expect to see you coming around the corner on your scooter. Mom ,and all of your nieces and nephews always listen to your favorite songs, and I know the Roxie really misses you. I know now your in a better place and not suffering from pain. It's been a year now since you have left us and not a day goes by without one of us talking about how much we miss you ( neighba's ) and now that we have lost Kevin too, That really has all of the family and friends remembering and missing both of you guys alot. The boys and I are going to miss Tio Gabe so much, not knowing whats it going to be like
when we want to visit, throw dice or just scratch a lottery ticket, we all will have our days thinking of him and his joking humor or his attitude we would overlooked " sometimes " and how much I would probably love to hear that attitude again. Gabe was such a good friend who did keep everyone laughing. i had the pleasure of dating him and to see him with my grand daughter when she was little was so much fun. there was never a dull moment with him. he always had me and my girls laughing especially when he would want to say good morning to the whole neighborhood :) my heart goes out to all his brothers and his mother and i know he will be deeply missed love you forever gabe! melanie sanchez

Gabe was a great person, friend to everyone and always had a smile on his face when he saw you. The Rey family and our family grow up together. I had many brothers and Gabe was always just another brother to me. He really will be missed. He had always be such a great friend to my brothers. It is hard to imagine how time flies. We knew Gabby as a young boy,as a young man and as an adult. I remember various things about him but most of all his respect for us when we greeted him. He was always very cheerful..rest in peace and may God Bless your family always...

Gabe lived around the corner from us growing up. Whenever my parents went out of town Gabe new he would be getting a frantic phone call from me, asking him to please hurry and get down here, there is someone in my backyard. He always came to our rescue, even though there was never anyone out there.
I have so many good memories of Me, Todd and Gabe. So many songs that bring me back to them.
Its been a while that I have seen Gabe and I wish that I had taken the time to go and visit with him and to let him know that he was a very special friend.
When I think of him it always (well almost always) puts a smile on my face. I love you mamawit (inside joke)
