Bakersfield – Jan was born to Dale and Beatrice Cowan on January 24, 1947 in Bakersfield, California.
She married Tom Pedersen in 1964. They were married 60 years and had 2 daughters Laura Landeros of Fillmore, CA and Melissa Pedersen of Oregon. Also survived by brother Ronnie Cowan (Susan) of Georgia, Roger Cowan of Bakersfield and Marilyn Moyers of Indianapolis, IN. Nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 60 years.
Preceded in death by her parents.
