I was in Wasco High with LaFreda and had always admired her spirit, a beautiful smile and tho we were not in the same 'group', her memory will always be remembered as one we looked up to as an example of friendliness, joy and seemed to live a full life. My sincere condolences to her family.

I met LaFreda when my daughter Kimberly was in junior high school. Kimberly and Jessica met and they became best friends. My parents had just died and LaFreda was like a grandmother to Kimberly, her and Ray would take the girls on vacations with them to the mountains and the beach, they treated Kimberly like their own. We loved her like a mom and grandmother and will miss her sense of humor and that great smile.
