ROBERT RICHARD MILLER

October 21, 1931 – April 24, 2025

Robert Richard Miller was born in Bakersfield, California, on October 21, 1931, and passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at Hoffmann House, surrounded by family and friends. He was 93.

Robert lived the promise of Psalm 91:16: "With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation." He was an ordained minister of the Gospel and a blessed man because of his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and LORD.

He was the son of BJ "Rocky" Miller and Kitty Clyde Richards Miller, who preceded him in death, along with three sisters.

Robert proudly served 3½ years in the U.S. Navy and was awarded the National Defense Ribbon, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Medal, and China Service Medal. Robert was a longtime business owner in the construction and electrical field. His delight was to help young workers become business owners. He was an Honor Flight Veteran; and a lifetime member of FGBMFI. He also served many years as an International Host for the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

He is survived by his wife, Tina; a niece, Judy (Robert); and a nephew, Gene. Robert has four children: Paul, Patti, Pamela (Rocky), and Perry; (with Charlette, they also have 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.)

Robert's parting message to his family and loved ones is found in this scripture, "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love." – John 15:9
