Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Friday, December 15th, 2023, at 12:00 pm. Interment is private. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, 7401 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208 or Chizuk Amuno Congregation, 8100 Stevenson Road, Pikesville, MD 21208. The family will be in mourning at The Suburban Club, 7600 Park Heights Avenue, Pikesville, MD 21208. The family will be receiving on Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm with a service at 3 pm.

Decades ago, when Mrs. Mandel was First Lady of Maryland, I was a volunteer at a summer camp for individuals with muscular dystrophy. Mrs. Mandel made the drive down from Annapolis, just to say hello to us all. She arrived without fanfare, and couldn't have been more kind, speaking to all of us. It was an exciting thing for us, to have the governor's wife drive all the way down to wish us the best.
She was a wonderful person; my condolences to her family, and I hope they rely on their many wonderful memories of her during this difficult time.

I will love and miss you always grandma. My entire childhood you and I were together so much and I loved it. So many amazing memories. I will cherish them forever.

She was a great woman. I helped keep her house clean. This was a shock.i never thought she was that old. She was set in her ways which is why we got along so well.
