Bess LaBorwit Obituary
On June 20, 2014, Bess (Muskin) LaBorwit, 100, beloved Namar to her family, native of Baltimore, MD., died in Potomac, MD. Cherished wife for almost 80 years to the late Homer; adored mother of Phyllis Dreyfuss and the late Larry LaBorwit; unforgettable grandmother of Mitchell (Nancy), Scott (Lisa) and Todd (Adrienne) LaBorwit and Brian (Ellen) and Kevin (Christie) Dreyfuss; and great-grandmother of Lindsey, Austin, Gabrielle, Tyler, Dylan and Drew LaBorwit, Max, Leo, and Luke Dreyfuss and Elle LaBorwit; sister of the late Leona (Leon) and Garfield(Bessie); daughter of the late Sadie and Ben. Mother-in-law of Goody Finklestein.; treasured aunt of loving nieces and nephews. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Sunday, June 22, at 2 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery - Berrymans Lane. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to JSSA Hospice, 6123 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852 or Washington Hebrew Congregation (Music and Worship Fund) 3935 Macomb St., NW, Washington, DC 20016. In mourning at 10226 Democracy Lane, Potomac, MD 20854, Sunday through Monday evening.
