On June 20, 2014, Bess (Muskin) LaBorwit, 100, beloved Namar to her family, native of Baltimore, MD, died in Potomac, MD. Cherished wife for almost 80 years to the late Homer; adored mother of Phyllis Dreyfuss and the late Larry LaBorwit; unforgettable grandmother of Mitchell (Nancy), Scott (Lisa) and Todd (Adrienne) LaBorwit, Brian (Ellen) and Kevin (Christie) Dreyfuss; and great-grandmother of Lindsey, Austin, Gabrielle, Tyler, Dylan and Drew LaBorwit, Max, Leo and Luke Dreyfuss and Elle LaBorwit. Daughter of Sadie and Ben. Sister of the late Leona (Leon) and Garfield (Bessie). Mother-in-law of Goody Finklestein. Treasured aunt of loving nieces and nephews. She loved to talk about Homer, good friends, and all of the fun they had for so many years. Bess was her own force of nature and we will always smile when we think of her. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road (at Mount Wilson Lane), Baltimore, MD on Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery - Berrymans Lane. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to JSSA Hospice, 6123 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852 or Washington Hebrew Congregation (Music and Worship Fund) 3935 Macomb St., NW. Washington, DC 20016 In mourning at the home of Phyllis Dreyfuss, Sunday through Monday evening.
