David Funk Obituary
He leaves his wife Corinne's five siblings Frank, William, John, Susan (deceased), and Mary Maguire and their families. He also leaves his first cousins, Robert L. Herring, Jr. and his wife Vickie, Michael Herring and his wife Liz, and Susan Ritter, as well as his stepsister Shirley (Funk) Hipley and her family.
Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Sunday, June 8th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Mr. Funk will lie-in-state on Monday, June 9, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Chapel, 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd., Timonium MD, 21093. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Ellicott City, MD. Please consider a memorial donation to the Bryn Mawr School - David M. Funk Fund for the Edith Hamilton Scholars via https://www.brynmawrschool.org/giving/ways-to-give. You may also consider making a donation to the Cathedral of Mary our Queen or the Mercy Ridge scholarship fund.
