OMG, just today, I sent a letter to Eric's former address on Dolfield Avenue there in Baltimore, inquiring as to where and how he was. We were close friends as kids in Baltimore back in the '60s. I decided to look him up on the Internet and discovered he had passed away. So I imagine my letter shall be returned. I am completely saddened as I remember him as a gentle and caring soul. I still have a record album he gifted me of a favorite artist and work, "Song for My Father" (Cal Tjader). I have listened to that LP over these many years and think of him each time. Rest in peace, my wonderful former friend. Vincent Rogers, DMD, MPH

Eric was the best boss I ever had. I will never forget when my Mom passed away he did the eulogy for her and it was the most beautiful eulogy I had ever heard. You would have though that he had known my Mom for years. I will never forget it and will never forget you.... A fine fine man..... I will pray for the family during this time of grief.

I will remember Eric with fondness. I saw him downtown sometime last year or so and had a lovely conversation with him. He was always kind, smiling, and the perfect gentleman. I extend my deepest sympathy to Eugene, Joel, Laura, Cimmon and Christopher.
