Mrs.Slusher,
while bowling in the summer league on thursdays this year i was informed by one of members that Howard had passed away. i first returned to bowling about 6 years ago and met Howard at the same time.
i enjoyed his company each week that we participated in the league schedule. i'm sorry for your loss and you have my sincere condolences for i've experienced the loss of a spouse myself and i know how difficult the times can be after they're gone. However, through faith and the help of others it makes that burden a little lighter. i know you've probably have that same kind of help through your family and friends and whatever faith that you believe in. I know the help I received was more valuable than anyone could know and it touched me deeply and I'm so very grateful to have received it. I shall miss conversations with Howard. Again you have my sincerest condolences.

Mrs. Slusher, Unfortunately we have never met, although we feel we know you and your family from our friendship with Howard. Howard bowled with us on our Bowling League in Timonium. Words cannot express how truly shocked and sorry we are for your loss. My goodness, it must have been 7 years ago that we first met and were placed on the same team. There were five of us, only my brother and I knew one another, the rest of us were not acquainted. It did not take long for all of us to become friends and really enjoy seeing one another every week. When Howard decided to quit the team last year, we tried so hard to convince him that we wanted him to stay. He would have none of it though, he said he wasn't bowling well enough and felt he was bringing us down. That was so not true! We enjoyed his company and loved to laugh and tease together. We missed him then and will continue to feel his absence. Again, we are so sorry and our prayers are with your family.
Love, Debbie and Jim King
