Jesse Edwards Obituary
Jesse Edwards, Jr., a loving and inspiring spirit, and long time educator in the Baltimore City Public School system as well as with Baltimore City Community College, and Coppin State University, was born August 31, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Jesse and Helen Crosby Edwards. During the early morning hours of Saturday, January 24, 2015 Jesse Edwards, Jr. was called to eternal rest. Jesse was survived by his son, Dr. Jesse Edwards III, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, a brother, William Edwards, a sister, Helen Cavitt, an aunt Helen Crosby, a stepmother, Beulah Edwards, two stepbrothers, his sweetheart Bertha Williams and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jesse was preceded in transition by his brother, Corsley Edwards and sister, Margie Blake. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 21st at Randallstown High School, 4000 Offutt Rd., Randallstown, MD. My condolences, he will truly be missed. He was instrumental in the athletic careers for so many people in the walbrook junction area Cahill Rec. center. He was a wonderful man, track coach and friend
