To Joseph Mellendick's family.. my family lived down the street from the Mellendicks and growing up Joey was such a great friend to me and to my sister, Lisa, who is developmentally disabled. Joey was always so sweet to us both, and always brought his cocker spaniel, Duke, to visit my sister. I loved learning American sign language from Joe. His love for people and all of God's precious creatures endeared him to all who had the honor to know him and his lovely wife Mary. He is now with Mary once again and with his mom and dad. God's blessings to all of Joe's family. I am so glad that I was able to know him and to call him friend.
