To the Family of Mark,

We just learned today that Mark passed away. We first met Mark when he worked at Piccola Roma in Annapolis and have been to every restaurant that he has worked since then. I can understand this tragic loss because I lost my only brother in an auto accident at the age of 44. It is something that you never get over, they are gone to soon. Mark was such a genuine person and very caring. We are very sad to hear of his passing and we will miss him greatly because he wasn't someone who only waited on us at restaurant's he was our friend.

To the Lafond family,

I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Mark. Although I hadn't seen Mark in years, I still remember our days on the wrestling team. Particularly, at one meet, when I was told that my hair was too long for the headgear, so Mark came to my rescue and cut my hair above my ears. I had to go to the barber the next day to fix the haircut Mark gave me. We always had a good laugh about it. Mark was a good guy. Take care.

Don and Rose,
There is no loss so great as that of a son or daughter. You have been the best parents to your children and I know how losing Mark has crushed you.

I have been so lucky to have been touched by your entire family and to be made to feel a part of your family as well.

We are so sorry to hear this tragic news. Mark worked with us at the Milton Inn for many years beginning as a bus boy. With his eagerness to learn and his easygoing ways he quickly became one of the finest waiters around and everyone requested his tables. In addition to being a true professional he was a wonderful , caring person. Our deepest condolences
