It is with extreme shock that I have just learned of Mike's passing & my sympathy goes out to his family. Mike & I went to high school together and pal'd around like crazy teenagers often do (much to his parents chagrin!). As I sit and reflect I think of all the great times & memories we shared and it makes me sad we drifted apart so many years ago. You will live on in my heart and mind forever.

It is with great sadness that I just learned of Michael's passing. My heart goes out to the Bearden family, friends and loved ones. Michael was one of my very first friends when I moved to Maryland almost 30 years ago at the age of 10. We lived just across the street on Will-o-Brook Drive. I have wonderful memories of growing up along side of Michael and Suzie. Playing kickball, spotlight, sled riding, going to school and swimming at the Barringers pool with the Bearden children were some of my happiest childhood times. I also have fond memories of two very nice parents, Ms. Kathy and Mr. Lou. May God surround your family with His love during this difficult time.

I just returned from vacation, and received the sorrowful news of Michael’s passing. While this message of condolence is late in getting posted, I would like to share my thoughts and prayers with Mike’s family. My heart grieves for the Bearden’s; for Suzie, Mr. Lew, Mrs. Kathy, and for Mike’s family in Bermuda as well. Years have past, and we’ve all gone in different directions, but the memories of growing-up with Michael, and with Suzie (practically a sister to me), will be with me forever. In fact, the memories are as if it were just yesterday, and we were all kids, friends, playing together on Will-o-Brook Drive. I am so sorry for your loss, and I have been praying for you all. My entire family would like to extend our deepest sympathy and love to the Bearden Family.
With God’s Comfort and Love, Jennifer Cloney

My heart goes out to all that were blessed to have meet Mike. I knew Mike professional and personally through Logic. Mike could light up the room and his corny but sometime funny jokes were sure to have you laughing around on the floor or at the least smile.
Mike will be truly missed

Kathy, Lew and Suzie,
My thoughts and love are with you, your families and with Michael's family on this sad day. Although the miles and years apart are many, the memories of the years spent together, watching the kids grow up on Will-O-Brook Drive, in time, will bring a smile again. But, not today. Today, it hurts and we share your grief. Mike was a part of our family too.
Love to you all,
Helen

It was with immense sadness that I learned of the untimely death of my friend and ex-colleague Mike Bearden. I worked with Mike at IBM, in his first job out of the military, and remember the refreshing earnestness he brought to it that might have been suspicious in another. Not Mike: whenever he said "Let me know if I can be of more help" everybody knew he meant it. It was an attitude he carried throughout his career, and indeed his life.
Because as great a colleague as he was, Mike was an even better friend. He had the perfect host's knack of making anyone who came to his house - perhaps for his famous Superbowl specials - feel like an honoured guest. I think we all were.
I regret that we had lost touch in recent years with both Mike and Sacha, but will never forget the infectious grin, the sincere, easy warmth, the handshake of a president. Mike, it is you who were our honoured guest. Rest in peace.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Bearden family. Our sadness over this event is truly immeasurable. There are many, many great memories from the early Bermuda days that are forever treasured and still very strong in our hearts. Although it has been awhile since we last spoke, we spoke of Mike often and will always. We will miss you dearly.
