Ruth Palmere Obituary
On October 25, 2014 Ruth Evelyn Palmere (nee Villmar) passed away peacefully at the age of 91; She was the beloved wife of the late Phillip Palmere; devoted mother of Rosemarie Palmere, Phillip & Donna Palmere Jr, Ruth & Charles Henry Sr., and Pat Palmere-Nason & Joe Nason; loving grandmother of Sharon Futcher, Eddie Sabol, Charles Henry Jr., Patricia Panageotou, Jennifer Anderson and Steven Sabol; sister of the late Viola Blanchard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Growing up in Baltimore, Ruth loved the Orioles and became an avid Ravens fan. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting and the Game Show Network. Her most favorite time was spent with her family especially her 8 great-grandchildren. She was the co-owner of the Boardwalk 5 & 10 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for 40 years. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (at beltway exit 26) on Friday, October 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen, Bradshaw on Saturday, November 1st at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Druid Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ruth's name to: Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Ste. 105, Danvers, MA 01923 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 4600 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203. Mom we toasted you on your Birthday with Tricia, George Emma, Laruen, Ruth, Chip. Desi, Gus Joe and me. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you and daddy and miss you so much. I know that you are with us but so blessed to have such great parents and love and miss you so much. God bless until we are together again!!!!

Good afternoon, Mom and Dad
There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you and or talk to you both, you are always in my thoughts, and I pray that I have made you proud.
There are good days and bad days but thank God for your love and support you gave all of us. The family will always be together. Tomorrow will be a sad day for us as you were called home but a happy day for you as you were reunited with your beloved, Phillip, and family.
I miss you so much, but I know you have Eddie to watch our Ravens and ND, and thanks for the win yesterday and we will need help on Thursday, so rest up Wednesday.

Well tomorrow will be 7 years when you were called home and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of that day and the day daddy was called home. I miss you beyond words and pray that you are enjoying Eddie with you both. Please pray for Chip and Rosemarie regarding their health concerns and please ask God and the Blessed mother to watch over us all!!!

Mom it does not seem possible you were called home six years ago

Hi mom and dad
It has been so long since my last note and as you know a lot has been happening in 2020 too much sadness. I know Eddie is with you both but it is so painful to have him not with us my heart is broken but not as much as Rosemarie’s heart.

To all who have been blessed to have had Ms.Ruth in their lives I send my heartfelt condolences. I had the pleasure of sitting with Ms.Ruth a few hours a week for a while. Boy did we put a lot into those few hours !! The game shows we watched and of course we had to put in our answers also...We talked about all the changes she had seen over the years. Her dolls were proof of the talent she had, but I beleive her greatest talent was the "love she gave and received from her family". I will miss her dearly, but "heaven is much sweeter with her there". I pray for comfort and peace for you all, sincerely,Minnie

I was fortunate to have met Mrs. Ruth about 16 years ago at a salon where I worked. I also had the pleasure of doing her hair many times. She was the sweetest woman! Always seemed happy and grateful. She will be missed very much. I'm blessed to have known her!
