Maria:

I first met Stamos in the late 70's at Hershey Park. Little did we know then what an important part the State of Pennsylvania would play in Stamos' life. Little did we know that we would tragically lose an incredible friend and person at such an early age. Thankfully, the memories that we have with Stamos before he met you and after your wedding were incredibly happy memories.

Rania and I are grateful that we had the opportunity to spend time with you and Stamos in Vegas and Aruba. And before I married Rania, I still have fond memories of our trip to Vegas with our little crew.

It is hard to believe that almost forty days have passed since Stamos' tragic death. In fact I still can not believe it. It was hard saying goodbye at his funeral and its just as hard saying goodbye now.

Stamos, I know you are up there looking down on us. And if God graces us, we will see you in heaven.

To my amazing sister Maria,

You know that I am never good in person in telling you how I feel, but I will tell you that I am so lucky to have you as a sister. This is so unfair, and I wish I could take away your pain. I would do anything for you so that you would not have to go through this. I want you to know that I pray for you every night, and that God and Stamo have big plans for you and you're going to be ok. Stamo would always tell me how lucky he is to have you, and he was always right. Maria, I love you, and I will be by your side for everything. Thank you for being the BEST BIG SISTER a person could ever ask for. I am truly sorry for all that has happened, but we will get through this together.

I love you!

Voula

P.S. Remeber the song I would always sing to him to drive him nuts! Zalismenos ap'to horo, Ap ta sinifa peto, fotostephano foro, kai san to hlio STAAAAMOOOOO!!!!!

To our Heavenly Angel Stamo,

Not a minute goes by that you are not on our mind. Our hearts are eternally broken. We were blessed to have you as a son in law even if it was for a short amount of time. You completed the family when you married Maria on that Beautiful day. Stamo, you have impacted so many lives on this earth, especially ours. This world will never be the same without you. We will miss your daily phone calls, your excitedeness about getting a new house, or car, your passion to finish school, your April fools calls, your wood projects, but most importantly, your drive for life and love. Thank you for not only giving us the pleasure of having you in our family, but for making our daughter Maria so happy. We will miss you so much that words can not explain the pain we have inside. We are forever greatful for you, and you will always be remembered and loved by us. Stamo, we miss you and thank you for touching our lives.

We love you,

Mom and Dad Kyriakopoulos

To our Stamo,

Jim the kids and I will never, ever forget you. There are NO words to tell you how we even feel. We are so deeply sadddened to have lost you, and in our eyes you will be irreplaceable. As we try to write this all we can do is cry, but I know that you know what we are thinking just through our prayers. Please know that Victoria and Dean will miss their Theo Stamo GREATLY. There isn't a day that goes by that Victoria asks if you're going to come back down on your balloons to see us. Please watch over my sister, for you were the twinkle in her eye. We love you! Thank you for being the PERFECT Brother in law. You will make the perfect Angel in Heaven!

We Love You Stamo and Miss You GREATLY!!

Dear Maria & family,

There really are no words to express the sorrow everyone feels about the great tragedy of the loss of Stamos. He touched so many lives with his enthusiasm, excitement, curiosity, and his obvious love for life and people. May you find comfort in your warm memories of Stamos, in God, and in your family and friends. His spirit will always live on in all the lives he touched. And you will always know he is watching over you when you see the star you named for him up in the heavens. God bless.

Dearest Nouna,

I am truly sorry for this great tragedy in your life. You know as well as I do that we are all here for you. Stamo may not have been there when you baptized me, but through marriage he became one of the best Nounos anyone could have asked for. In the few years that I was blessed to know Stamo he touched my life. I will never forget the great times that we had together. He will be a the man that I will always strive to become. Stamo will always have a special irreplacable place in my heart.

I had the pleasure of working with Stamos on a project at Myriad, but it was more fun listening to him plan out social events for the Greek singles community - a kind, selfless act.

He's a great guy & he'll be missed. Maria, thanks for providing him with great joy, & we're all here with you in your loss.

We have always respected Stamos and Maria, because they enjoyed sharing their love and wonderful zest for life with everyone who encountered them. Stamos gave us wonderful advice whether we asked for it or not, because he sincerely cared. Of course, he was always right. Friends are those people who care and express their concerns to each other in a gracious manner. Our friendship will never die. We are thankful to God for blessing us with Stamos and Maria. Although his physical being has been transformed, his wonderful spirit and presence will always live within us and remind us about how life can be warm, wonderful, witty, and fun. We love you Maria and Stamos!

There are only a handful of people that one can count as having a significant imapact on one's life. Stamos was one of these special souls for me. I had the honor of knowing him through two classes at JHU, including our final capstone project. His energy, curiosity about life, propensity to challenge the norm and ability to make us all look into ourselves a little more deeply are gifts Stamos gave to me and our many classmates. My hearfelt sympathy to you, Maria, and your entire family. Stamos' memory will be forever cherished and honored by the many who knew him.
