Suzanne Gross Obituary

Suzanne Hoffberger Gross, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2025 at the age of 89. She is survived by her devoted children, Alison (Andrew) Fass, and Buzz Nasdor; her dear brother, Alan (Joanne) Hoffberger; her loving grandchildren, Ben (Ashley) Fass, and Anna (Jake) Fass Stone; and her cherished great grandchild, Emmett Alfred Stone. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Alfred Gross; and her loving parents, Bernice and Charles Hoffberger.

Suzanne earned her master's degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 1970. She dedicated much of her career to the Jewish Family Services of Central Maryland and the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Sinai Hospital, finding both personal and professional fulfillment in her work.

Services at Beth Jacob Cemetery, 2901 Baltimore Blvd., Finksburg, MD 21048, on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025 at 2:30 pm. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Seaside Jewish Community, 18970 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 or to The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, 5700 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215 or to Friends School of Baltimore, 5114 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210.
