Julia Bounds Obituary

Julia "Fran" Bounds, 77

Ms.Julia "Fran" Bounds, age 77 of Flippin, Arkansas passed away July 21, 2011 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.She was born August 5, 1933 in Annapolis, Missouri to Everett and Macie Brawley Jackson.

Before retirement she was a Keno Writer in Reno, Nevada. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and served as the Treasurer of District 2 for the state of Arkansas. She served ten years as treasurer of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Fran was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Carol McAleer and Rebecca "Becky" Price , both of Moscow, Idaho; three grandchildren: Joseph, Jonathan and Emma; and her soulmate, Paul Helton of Flippin, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William "Allison" Bounds and a grandson, Kelly Francis. .

Visitation will be from 3 until 9 PM Saturday, July 23, 2011 with the family receiving friends from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services, conducted by The Reverend Jim McDonald will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Roller Funeral Home. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary will do honors. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
