Lee was a childhood friend. We both lived in Chicago, Illinois--specifically on Talman Avenue.

Leeland & Leslie: I'm so sorry to know that your dad has passed. I noticed this a few years ago and regret not sending condolences at the time. Your dad spent countless hours with me in the late 70's and early 80s building two clock cabinets (that I still own and use) in his basement shop in Grand Rapids. Your dad's interest in me at a time when I needed some adult guidance and patience is something that I will always be grateful for. It's hard to estimate all I learned from him, but it went far beyond basic woodworking skills. I often feel humbled when I think of how selfless he was. I hope you are doing well and have fond memories of him. He is missed and thought of often.

Sorry in one respect but God took him home and now there is no pain. So glad you chose to live in our little corner of the world. Have know you since you were a kid - lots of memories I am sure Mom and Dad welcomed you with open arms. As Always, Karen

Lee I can't believe you are gone. I will miss your calls and the laughter we shared in our conversations. You were a dear friend and I was so blessed to know you!!! We will miss your bright presence here on earth but know you are pain-free in heaven, probably dancing with the Angels. Forever in my heart but never forgotten!!!
