William McGill Obituary
William J (Wild Bill) McGill passed away peacefully in his home in Davenport Iowa, on November 15th 2011.
Bill, formerly of Mountain Home, was born December 23, 1953 in Davenport Iowa. A self confessed "Gear Head" he was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed rebuilding and restoring old Harley Davidson Motorcycles for shows. Bill was an amateur Ham Radio operator, and had radio pals all over the world.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Edna McGill of Muscatine Iowa, and his father, Robert R McGill. He is survived by his mother, Evalyn McGill, brother Ed (Sheranne) McGill of Mountain Home, and sister Coleen (Darrel) McKittrick of Davenport, Iowa, nephews and nieces Nicholas McGill, Celeste McGill and Rachel (Tyler) Andres of Mountain Home and Kyle and Sean McKittrick of Davenport, Iowa.
Services are pending at The Runge Mortuary in Davenport, IA.

So happy u moved back here to b with us dad. I got to know u as a adult and realize just how cool u were. And how your love and guidence made all of us kids who we r today. I hold Sheila and I can feel u. She looks at me sometimes and I sware she has that look u used to give me. That look of I love u. I will always love u and b proud to call u my dad.I had the coolest dad ever

Ed, call me at 563-514-8930! I've been looking for you for 30 years. I'm really going to miss bill after working with him at Prescon years ago. He was an excellent comrad!

May God Bless you all in your time of sorrow. The song I remember most when I think of Bill is Elton John's "I guess thats why they call it the blues." I have lots of wonderful memories of our roadtrips and weekend trips. You will be missed greatly. The world lost one great mechanic! Love Always Darcey
