Douglas Rae Remmers, 44, Cortland, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006. Born Oct. 31, 1961, at Tecumseh.
Survivors: mother, Alvina “Babe" Remmers of Cortland; father and stepmother, Terry and Sharleen Remmers of Omaha; sister, LeAnn Remmers-Hamner of Hickman; grandfather, Alvin Kalkwarf of Crete. Preceded in death by brother, Michael; grandparents, Elvin and Lucille Remmers.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., Lincoln. Burial: Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation: noon-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday prior to service at the mortuary.
