Glenn Lindsey Obituary

Glenn Emery Lindsey, of Pasadena, TX, was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at the age of 62.

Glenn was born on November 19, 1958 to Emery Atley Lindsey and Nina Lee Lindsey in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1976 and married the love of his life, Tammy Lindsey in Pasadena in March of 1977.

Glenn worked as a Safety/Training manager for many years, most recently as a Training, Rescue, and Health Services Manager at Total Safety, Inc. for the last 17 years. He was a man of God, a husband, father, brother, and friend to so many, and a helpful hand to anyone who needed it. He gave everything he had to anyone who needed it-he served the Pasadena community in the Pasadena Volunteer Fire Department for 12 years, spent several years serving his church community as a Royal Ambassadors leader as well as 20+ years caring for babies in the church nursery. Glenn loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and never missed an opportunity to watch a John Wayne or James Bond movie or a NASCAR race.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Emery Atley Lindsey and Nina Lee Lindsey; brother Alan Lindsey; sister Jane Ponce; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tammy Lindsey; sons Shawn Lindsey and wife Maria, Dustin Lindsey and wife Miranda, Jordan Lindsey; and daughter Christal Lovett and husband Charles; sister Lee Lindsey; as well as grandchildren, Caden Swift, Cameron Swift, CJ Lovett, Ralph Atchison III, Peyton McNair, Malakai Atchison, Ruby Lindsey, and Ava Lindsey; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at 11am at South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena, TX.

Sweet memories of Glenn growing up, as he gave me a million rides to Pizza Inn after church when he got his license before me. He was kind and funny, and I cannot imagine how much he will be missed. Big hugs, and prayers for God´s peace to your hearts.
