Jeffrey Hight Obituary
Jeff graduated from Greenville Sr. High School in 1977 and shortly thereafter moved to the Houston, TX area, where he spent the rest of his life. Most of his career was devoted to managing auto body shops and, for several years, he worked as an auto insurance adjuster with McNally Insurance prior to his death.
He is survived by his two children, daughter Heather (partner Shelby Light) Hight of College Station, son Cameron (fiancé Jessica Averre) Hight of Tomball, a granddaughter, Ryin Hight of College Station, and his former wife, Diana Hight Platt, all of Texas. He is also survived by his siblings, sister Pamela (Earl) Young and brother Michael (Lisa) Downing, of Greenville, nieces Emily Downing of Erie, Hallie (Dan) Isadore of Pittsburgh, and nephews Brett (Amy) Young of Greenville and Kale (Kayla) of Pittsburgh, all of Pennsylvania. He will be sadly missed by all his family members and friends in Texas and Pennsylvania and his canine friend, Rocco.
Besides his mother and father, Jeff was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial service is being planned at a later date in Texas. Eickenhorst Funeral Services of Conroe, TX assisted the family with arrangements.

I never met him, in person, but he was one of the nicest people I met on the phone. He was always kind and courteous. Always a delight to talk with him. I heard from him days before he went to the hospital. He will be missed!
