Lottie Valarie Davillier, a shining star, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in her Beaumont home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Peaceful Rest Baptist Church, 2960 Houston Street, Beaumont, TX 77705. Born in Beaumont, TX on August 16, 1949, Lottie graduated from Hebert High School in 1967, served in the Army Reserve and pursued higher education, becoming a devoted teacher. As a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Lottie embodied excellence. After retiring from Beaumont Independent School District, Lottie continued to inspire, sharing her heart with the community through tireless volunteer work. Her remarkable life was a testament to servant leadership, motivating others with her passion. Lottie's impact extended far and wide, touching her church, Peaceful Rest Baptist Church, Some Other Place, and countless lives. Though she may be gone, Lottie's legacy continues to uplift and inspire us. She was preceded in death by her husband Owen Davillier and cherished daughters Hazel Davillier and D'Juana Davillier. Lottie's memory lives on through her brother Robert Randle, stepdaughter Kathy Davillier, Goddaughters Rachel Melonson and Jennifer Trevino, nieces Amy Randle and Lela Randle, son in law Cleon Fowler, cousins, and a host of family and friends.
