Paul Minick Obituary

1937 - 2018 Paul Leon Minick, 81, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at The Oaks at Beaumont. He was born on January 16, 1937, to Ida Lee Butcher Minick and Claude Minick, in Heavner, Oklahoma, and was a United States Air Force veteran. Paul retired from Goodyear after thirty-two years of service. He loved the beach and was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Minick; daughters, Farah Sanders and her husband, Jessie, of Beaumont and Paula Bolton and her husband, Dwight, of Damon; step-son, Chris Forster and his wife, Donna; of Beaumont; sister, Phyllis Thibodeaux and her husband, Russell, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Samantha Turner, Tabitha Turner, Travis Milner and his wife, Cecilia; and Lauren Summers and her husband, Alexander; and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin Paul Minick. A family committal was held at Broussard's Crematorium under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
