Afterwards, he served as the Occupational Health & Safety Specialist with Lexicon Genetics, Inc. At various times in his career, he taught as an adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of Houston and Montgomery County Community College. Thomas had a lifelong passion for the study of Christian Theology, was an avid reader and creative writer, and was a collector of historical artifacts and relics. I met Tom while working with Sadler Clinic in the Woodlands; he was working at Lexicon Genetics at the time. I got involved in the Montgomery County Safety Advisory Council, and he was a joy to work with and to share ideas with at the round table. He always made time to visit with people and to get to know them. He always shared his knowledge and his kindness with those around him. My condolences to his entire family.
