O'Fallon, Illinois - Erna Mae Nabb, nee Nadler, born November 20,1937, died December 19, 2021.
As a banking professional Erna began her career as a teller at Southern Illinois National Bank in East St. Louis and rose through the ranks to retire as a vice-president and branch manager for Regions Bank in Fairview Heights. Erna loved her family passionately and took great pride in their successes whether it was in academics, sports (particularly her grandsons' hockey careers) or their personal and professional lives. Family gatherings, particularly holiday meals, will never be the same without her wonderful additions. Erna will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Erna Nadler and her son, Terry Jay Nabb.
Surviving are her son Kevin (Tina) Nabb, and her daughter Karen Chatham; grandchildren Nathan (Melissa), Emma, Colin (Liz) and Hannah Nabb as well as Kyle, Connor and Cole Chatham; great-grandchildren Elise Greer, Jack Nabb and Mila Nabb.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the charity of your choice. Share your condolences at www.wfh-ofallon.com. A private memorial service will be hosted by the family.
