In fond Remembrance
My parent's 5-acre property shared a common property line with the back yard of the Mathews' home, so you could really say we were "neighbors"I suppose. While growing up,myself and the Spengler brothers, Mike and Steve, shared a strong bond with Lisa's brothers Ray and Steve. It was a large lot, and we camped out there in the Summers, and all of us took turns at mowing the grass. Lisa and Vickie would join us at times, as we took hikes in the woods, played tag, flag football, and rode bikes together. I always had a good time visiting with the Mathews and it was surely a simpler, kinder time--and Lisa especially was kind, warm, and fun to be around. Please accept our deepest and heartfelt condolences at this time, and know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers...

Lisa and I were best friends for many years and I will always remember her with love. As with most relationships, there were ups and downs and though we hadn't spoken in many years, I am deeply sorry to hear of her passing. She will be remembered fondly by a lot of people and I will certainly be one of them. My deepest condolences go out to her entire family (Who knew me by my nickname Jody, formerly Morris). I remember spending many hours at their home in Hollywood Heights. You have my eternal gratitude for every kindness each of you has shown me and the entire Mathews family has left a lasting impression upon me. None more so than dear Lisa.
May your journey into the next world be peaceful, Lisa.
