I never knew Mr. Holdener. I saw that he lived in Grants Pass, where my mother's family has lived since the 40's. I was born in Belleville, raised on a Mascoutah family farm and spent many fine hours of my life visiting family in Grants Pass, Roseburg and Klamath Falls. He may have been friends with them, the Pooles /Maues out there, so I'm expressing my condolences. He sounds like a really wonderful person who will be missed. God bless.
