Norman Kaesberg Obituary

Dr. Norman Kaesberg
Dr. Norman Thomas Kaesberg, born in Belleville, Ill., on July 20, 1925, the son of Sara and Irvin Kaesberg, who have both preceded him in death, crossed over at his residence on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009.
Mr. Kaesberg served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a pilot. He graduated from Missouri Chiropractic College in 1950 and then founded Kaesberg Chiropractic Clinic where he enjoyed his patients and practice for 35 years. Professionally he was a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society and St. Clair County Chiropractic Society. He authored a textbook on High Voltage Therapy and lectured nationally. He was a member of the West Side Optimist Club, Belleville Chamber of Commerce, Belleville Exchange Club, was instrumental in the formation of Belleville Senior Citizens Club, Elks Club, March of Dimes, Toastmasters Club, Belleville Board of Zoning, District 201 School Board, Norm's Club and one of the original builders of Tamarack Golf Club.
He loved his work, golf and his family.
Surviving are his wife, Pauline, nee Peltes, Kaesberg; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Kendra and Dr. James White; aunt, Dorothy Kaesberg; and grandchildren, Benjamin, Michelle and Bruce White.
Memorials may be made to the Belleville West Side Optimist Club Childhood Cancer Campaign.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at noon on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. A.R. Tinge officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Doc was extremely fond and generous towards the Brothers of Mary at Cathedral High School during my four year faculty affiliation. I vividly recall a special request he had for them, which materialized. My deepest sympathy at the loss of a very special person.
