Ronald Busche Obituary

Ronald G. Busche, 85, of Waterloo, Illinois, born October 10, 1939, died Monday, October 21, 2024 while playing golf - which was his passion.

Ron was retired from General Motors in Wentzville, MO. He was an avid golfer and had played golf in many golf scrambles in the area. He also enjoyed playing poker with his sons and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith "Judy" Busche, nee Craig; his parents, Edmund and Mayme, nee Fehrenz, Busche; two brothers, Clyde and Harlond Busche; a sister, Carolyn St. Clair; and a great grandson, Levi Miles.

Surviving are his sons, Jim (Renee) Busche of Columbia, IL, Tim (Cindy) Busche of Manchester, MO, and Jon (Lisa) Busche of Waterloo, IL; eight grandchildren, Meghan, Shelby, Hannah (Preston), Hailey, Corey (Marisa), Taylor (Leanna), Shayna (David), and Alyssa (Ryan); two great grandchildren, Sawyer and Lennie; and two on the way. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Levi Miles Foundation.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
