Hunter Wayerski Obituary

Hunter Emery Wayerski was born on June 17, 1995 to Erica and Tory Wayerski in Bellingham, WA. He went to heaven to be with his dad on June 14, 2016. Hunter attended Catch The Son Preschool and Carl Cozier Elementary where he met some lifelong friends. Hunter then attended Bellingham High School for a year before deciding that it wasn't for him. Hunter lived on his own terms and quickly got his GED. He scored high on his SAT tests and was accepted into Central Washington University a year before his peers. He had a fun year at CWU and made many new friends there, however he forgot to study and after a year returned home to look for a job. He was employed by Olympic Foundry and moved to Seattle, WA. He was just beginning a new job with Raymark Plumbing and was thrilled to be starting a new chapter. We all saw the joy and happiness in Hunter as he set new goals for his life. Hunter had the most compassionate heart, putting everyone before himself. He was the first one to help if you felt down or needed a shoulder to cry on. Hunter wore his heart on his sleeve and everyone knew what he was feeling and how he felt about you. Hunter held nothing back and definitely lived life his way. He was proceeded in death by his dad Tory Wayerski. He is survived by his mom Erica Emery Wayerski. His sisters Emma Wayerski, Stacie Bishop and Mallory Morse; step-dad Tim Morse; grandparents George and Inge Emery and Jack and Karen Wayerski; aunt Bridget (Shawn) Findley, uncles Kip (Lisa) Wayerski, Cindy (Mike) Stortini, Kurt (Chantha) Wayerski and cousins Jake, Mitchell, Mason and Tristan Wayerski; Jake, Sarah and Matthew Stortini, Kayla and Nick Findley. Special chosen families included The Wisbeys, The Stokes and The Whites. Hunter's best friends were Carl and Jody Taylor, Oscar White, Marqus Reynolds, Coutney Lewis and Cody Beckstead. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on Tuesday, June 21st.

There are no words to express how sorry I am for the loss of your sweet son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend. Parents and Grandparents are not supposed to bury children and grandchildren. Hunter, I remember that contagious laugh. The kind that could make me smile even on my worst day.
Middle school and high school weren't easy, and even though we were not best friends, you still took time out of your day to ask me how I was. You never let me get away with "I'm fine". Hunter, always had that special smile. He was always waiting at my door after school for a lemon drop. He had me pegged and knew how much I liked him and when the other kids were gone I would give him a special drop. Over the years we developed a special friendship and I will miss him. Love to all of you and especially you, Erica. You were a good mom and you were there for him. I know because I could feel the love you had for your son and he had for you.
